Уроците за историята на България след 1940 година често не се преподаваха. Те присъстваха в учебниците, но учителите не стигаха до тях.

С новата учебна програма по История и цивилизация за 10 клас това ще се промени!

Това заяви директорът на Института за исторически изследвания при БАН доц. д-р Даниел Вачков в хода на пресконференция в БТА на тема “Достиженията на историческата наука и преподаването на история в българските училища“.

Вачков сподели, че българската история е изключителна дълга. Нашата държава е с най-голяма и дълга държавна история в Европа. България има и много голяма преддържавна история, което прави трудно представянето на различните епохи в училище.

По думите му обаче е неприемливо младежите, учениците които излизат от гимназиите, да не знаят нищо за историята на България след 1940 година. Да нямат мнение върху тези събития, различни от семейните разкази. Младежите трябва да знаят обективните факти.

Какви са проблеми в представянето на тези факти:

Проблем е представянето на тези факти – как те да бъдат представени възможно най-достъпно до учениците. Според Вачков ако се напише учебник, натъпкан с изключително много факти и събития, най-вероятно учениците ще загубят интерес към най-интересния предмет в училище.

Поради това Институтът за исторически изследвания при БАН работи с опитни методисти за установяването на това по какъв начин децата могат да поемат най-добре въпросната информация.

Според Вачков в тази насока е най-важно да се търси балансът. Като се говори за баланс, трябва да се отбележи, че учебната програма не може да обхване всички страни. Програмата акцентира върху основните характеристики на всички епохи и режими.

Доцентът допълни, че в днешно време тежката фактология е напълно излишна, защото учениците могат да проверят един факт за по-малко от минута чрез интернет. Трябва да се знаят само най-значимите такива. От учебниците по история трябва да се изчисти ненужното и излишното, така че да има възможност за повече тълкуване на ключовите периоди.

Според анализаторите на пресконференцията новите учебници няма да се различават много от предишните. Ще се различава обаче работата в училище.

Специалистът по Българско възраждане гл. ас. Д-р Димитър Христов обясни, че историята като учебна дисциплина у нас се изучава кръгово. Първо само въведение до 5 -7 клас, после започва по-обстоен преглед до 12 клас.

В 12 клас обаче учениците не са много активни. Децата имат ниска мотивация спрямо предметите, различни от тези, по които ще държат кандидатстудентски изпити. Поради това не трябва да се очаква, че те ще влагат много усилия и старания за изучаването на предмета.

През втория срок на 12 клас на практика почти не се учи по някои предмети. Това констатира Вачков като обясни, че по този начин важен материали на практика се преподава в празни учебни стаи.

Има ли място приватизацията в учебниците?

Доц. Вачков коментира и периода на приватизацията, който попада в новата учебна програма.

Според него този период не е достатъчно научно изследван. Има изследвания, но не може да се констатира ясно какви са механизмите, по които се осъществяват политическите и икономическите промени и държавни процеси. Периодът е и много близък, което прави трудно определянето на основните характеристики и понятия.

 “Идеята е приватизацията да се извади като понятие, което характеризира икономическите и политическите процеси в страната през този период. В програмата са посочени и социалните проблеми на периода, като целта е да се покаже драматизма на прехода”.

Стана ясно също така, че Института за исторически изследвания има готовност да участва в квалификационните курсове за преподаватели, организирани от министерството.
